Transcendental Meditation Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Dies

On wednesday, 5 February 2008 Maharishi Mahesh Yogi died at the age of 91 (most qualified estimation, as Maharishi never did officially confirm his birth date). Born around January 12 1917 in Jabalpur, India, Maharishi became a disciple of the Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math in the Himalayas in his early 20's. This led him onto his creation and ongoing development of the world famous 'Transcendental Meditation' technique and the 'Maharishi Vedic Science' (his scientific commentary and translation of the ancient Vedic scriptures)

The Rise Of Transcendental Meditation (TM)

In 1968 Transcendental meditation - also known as 'TM' was made known to the western world by 'The Beetles' who not only began B64practicing this form of meditation but propagated it by visiting Maharishi Mahesh Yogi at his ashram in India amongst a glare of publicity.

Following this, Maharishi, known to be slightly on the shrewd side, persuaded other big names such as Mia Farrow, the Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, Clint Eastwood, the director David Lynch & Sixties pop star Donovan to practice TM and therefore propel it out onto the masses.

John Lennon, however, left the program claiming the Maharishi was materialistic, allegedly writing the song 'Sexy Sadie' around these claims.

In the 1970's Maharishi began his plans for the global colonization of TM teaching centers, proposing one for every million of the population. Today, courses cost around 1,280 in the UK for just four '90 minute' consecutive days of instruction, offering follow up over the first three to six months. That's quite a fee for six hours of instruction and only the possibility of follow up advise! I'm not sure the average man can condone spending around 210 per hour for meditation techniques ...still, TM is an ever popular choice and has gathered many devoted followers over the years.

David Lynch and sixties star Donovan have been recently promoting 'conscious based education' in schools around America using the TM technique. Lynch is reported as explaining: "The technique of transcendental meditation has seen a drop in stabbings, violence, depressions, suicides and the use of illegal drugs in some of the worst schools in the US you can imagine." Lynch also claims: "When I started meditating I had a real anger in me, and I would take this out on my first wife. Two weeks after I started meditating, this anger lifted."

What Is Transcendental Meditation (TM)?

Learning TM in an official teaching center consists of a short initiation ceremony where a mantra is assigned to the student who is then instructed to use this to silently chant whenever meditating. From there the student begins to learn the art of releasing the mind of thoughts, feelings and fantasy by attempting to observe them as they arrive in the mind as though from a third party point of view and then return to chanting the mantra.

The aim of the program is to achieve inner peace by transcending those everyday thoughts and feelings that we are barraged with and maintain a higher state of awareness.

Some scientists have documented reports that prove the meditation to be beneficial to general health and well being by lowering stress, anxieties and illnesses. Statistics showed improved blood pressure, lower heart rates and breathing whilst achieving higher concentration and alertness.

Secrets Of Living A Good Life
Helping Home Owners Building Their Dreams

If It's Worth Doing, It's Worth Doing Wrong!

That's right! Anything worth doing is worth doing wrong - at first. Remember when you first learned to ride a bicycle? Maybe it was Christmas morning or your birthday, and you were so thrilled to discover your shiny new bike. You were eager to ride it so you and Dad went into the street or the yard for your first attempt at this new skill. And you wobbled. And you fell. Maybe you started with training wheels. You ran into the curb. But you kept trying. And sure enough, you got better. Eventually you could ride with one hand, and then no hands! You kept trying because you liked it, and it was an important skill.

Think about other skills you may now take for granted: driving a car, baking a cake, using a spreadsheet, negotiating a contract, or hitting a golf ball. Those skills came with practice. On your very first attempt at those endeavors, you may have really fouled it up, or you may have been able to stumble through it without calling a paramedic.

But then on the second or third try, and on the twenty-eighth try, you got better at it. It came more naturally, more smoothly. You gained confidence as you gained competence.

Im amused at the students in my judo class when they announce, after practicing a technique for 10 repetitions, OK, I know this throw now.

I tell them after they have done the throw 1000 times they will start to become comfortable with it. And after 5000 repetitions, they will be pretty good at that throw. But not until they have practiced the technique 10,000 times will they own the throw.

When I was a younger judo student, my coach directed me to practice a particular throw 50 times with my partner. He told me to make sure everything was correct: weight on the balls of my feet, head turned in the proper direction, hands pulling correctly, hips squarely under my shoulders. After all, if youre going to take the time to practice that many repetitions, youve got to do them right. Otherwise, youll become a leading expert in doing the technique - incorrectly!

I complained to my coach, But I dont like this throw, since it was not one of my favorite techniques and I was not very good at it. His response was brilliant, Then you need to do it until you do like it.

I said, Yes sir, and did the practice drills. And I realized later that day what he had said. If I practiced the technique until I did like it, I would gain the skill and confidence in my ability to the point where I was comfortable doing the throw.

Think about top performers: Olympic gymnasts, NASCAR pit crews, fighter pilots, police tactical teams. Do you think the guy running the air wrench on the pit crew says to himself casually, Im not doing anything else this weekend; Ill think Ill head over to the race track and change a few tires?

Of course not. He is very deliberate about perfecting his skills. That crew practices over and over and knows exactly where each crew member is during the pit stops. The few tenths of a second they shave off of their time by practicing could mean the difference in millions of dollars of prize money over the course of a racing season.

So if theres a skill you need in order to pursue your goal, your dream, jump in and try it. You can read about it, you can look at websites, you can talk to others that have the skill, and you should do all those things. But at some point, you have to get out of the shallow end of the pool and try it.

Dont be discouraged if you fail miserably. Its a learning process. Next time, youll do a little better. Eventually, youll work your way up to average! And thats where most people stop. But you can continue to improve if you choose to invest the time, the money, and the energy.

You can work your way up to the expert level, that top 5% or top 2% where youll be recognized and compensated for your expertise. It may not take 10,000 repetitions. But it will probably take more than four.

So get started! Go try something and foul it up! And then try again. Find a coach or mentor and take advantage of their experience and insight. And keep trying. Youll get there!

Your Unconscious is Ripe for Gardening

James Arthur Ray, author of "Science of Success," put it rather eloquently in his book. Your unconscious and conscious minds are like the garden and gardener. The conscious mind is the gardener where thoughts from the outer world are formed while the unconscious is like the inner garden where they are deposited on a daily basis. We plant seeds of conscious thoughts in the unconscious mind and then if we choose to do so, water them with new thoughts, emotions, feelings and actions. Interesting analogy, isn't it?

What happens if our conscious mind is left to its own devices on autopilot? The unconscious becomes strewn with weeds and eventually becomes unwieldy, making it difficult to attract what you want in life.

When we become aware of ourselves, we automatically make different decisions, attract different people to match our inner vibration and carry ourselves differently.

Yo134Fu see, because I've become the consummate gardener in the quest to attract what I truly want, I've consciously raised my level of awareness of the choices I'm making on a daily basis.

In essence, I've become both an observer and the observed of Stephen J. Hopson.

Who?

Yes, in case you forgot my name, that's me.

"What!?!" you might say. Think about that for a moment.

If you make conscious choices, you're bound to become aware of your actions, thoughts and feelings, right? What could follow from that?

Number one, you become the observer. Why? Because you're now watching yourself think, process, behave, assimilate, react, etc.

Number two, you become the observed. Why? Because you're observing yourself being observed. Think of it this way, it's like having an out-of-body experience where you're not only watching yourself carry on but you also know that you're watching yourself.

Pretty cool, wouldn't you say?

A small yet significant example would be what happens when I reach for the TV remote control. Never before have I observed myself making choices when selecting a TV program or movie. In the past, I might have sleepily flipped through the channels until I found something that caught my eye without giving it much thought.

Nowadays I find myself saying things like, "That's too violent" or "Why would I want to watch a documentary on violent prisons?" In other words, because these are conscious thoughts, I make different choices. One of them includes taking the time to press "Info" on the remote control to find out more about the program, just like reading the labels on food packages in the supermarket.

This leads me to watching educational documentaries on the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet rather than a violent, senseless thriller. I tend to gravitate to programs like "America's Funniest Videos" or comedy shows. One of the guests on "The Secret" testified how she was able to eliminate breast cancer by watching hilarious "Laurel and Hardy" movies every day along with daily affirmations and prayers. There really is truth in the old adage that laughter is best medicine!

Why don't you try it right now! Pretend you are having an out-of-body experience. Take your conscious mind outside yourself and go to your living room or wherever you have a TV. Become the observed and observer and watch your thoughts and your actions while flipping through the channels. Do the same thing when carrying on a conversation with people - you'll see how you really think, behave, speak. This exercise will shock you! It'll feel a little weird at first but I guarantee you'll find it quite fascinating and potentially life-changing.

Not only do you become the observed and observer, you also bring to light deeply embedded beliefs that might have been created as a result of past religious practices. For example, growing up in a Catholic household exposed me to prayers like "not being worthy to receive Jesus."

That absolutely blew my mind to smithereens - no wonder I had struggles in the past with the notion of being worthy enough to to receive gifts, ask for what I want, accept compliments or enjoy abundance!

Food for thought: Are you becoming both the observed and observer by acting like a loving, caring gardener of your unconscious mind?

Everything Starts With a Thought

We create in a variety of ways but the basic process of creation is a three-step formula. We create by thought, word, and deed.

The Creation Equation: Thought

Thought. Everything starts with a thought. Let's examine this powerful phenomenon that is pervasive in our lives and sets the table for the smorgasbord of things we can pick from to create the life of our intentions.

Everything starts with a thought:

We have thoughts running through our heads all the time. Most of the time we do not think about them too much because we are used to them, and they are like background noise in the day-to-day world that we live in.

We are bombarded with noise constantly as we move throughout our day. Our heads are filled with the sounds of music from the radio, or the incessant dialogue on the television. We receive constant messages about everything from how many people were killed senselessly in the world today, to which team is better at football, to canned laughter about some tired sitcom joke, to which potato chip to eat with the next newest diet, low-cal, low-fat, low-sodium, decaffeinated, high-calcium, sugB15arless soda pop we are supposed to drink.

We talk to a variety of people throughout the day and receive a huge volume of incoming messages that we process and filter to glean out the information that we need. As we take the information from outside stimuli, we also process information internally to use in our decision-making process, and then develop and systematize our thoughts into speech patterns to verbalize them. We listen, we process, and we talk, all through this concept of thought.

We understand that we have thoughts all the time. This concept becomes apparent when we sit calmly and try to quiet our thoughts, as we do when we meditate. Sometimes it takes a long time for your thoughts to quiet down and not pop into your head in random-fire order. You actually have to train your mind to quiet your thoughts in order to reach a truly quiet and tranquil place where you do not have this constant barrage of thought.

Thoughts come to us because that is the nature of the universe and the creative process and thank God for that. We need our thoughts to tell us about our environment so that we can be aware of the things that influence our lives and allow us to decide which thoughts we wish to pursue.

Every thought we have is creative but we don't create every thought we have into our reality. However every thing that shows up in our reality started out as a thought. Not just your personal reality but also the collective reality of the universe. You had a hand in how life on planet earth is being played out with the very thoughts you are thinking.

Yes, that is how powerful you really are. Your thoughts not only are the catalyst for every experience in your life but when you feel strongly about social issues those thoughts form with other similar thoughts and society as a whole is created with your input.

You are the center of the universe and everything in your universe started with a thought. Your thought.

How Movies Can Help You Avoid Dream Bullies

In this world there are two kinds of people: Dream Achievers and Dream Bullies. Dream Achievers give life to dreams. Dream Bullies harass or destroy dreams. If you want to be a Dream Achiever, you must learn two things: how to avoid Dream Bullies and how to seek the company and support of other Dream Achievers.

Dream Bullies are, unfortunately, everywhere: in our families, work environment, spiritual community, gym, circle of friends, neighborhood club. Some of them are easier to spot than others. They all share one thing in common: they are afraid of dreams. They are afraid to take risks and make their innermost desires a reality. For this reason, they like killing everyone elses dreams, as soon as they are aware of them.

How to Spot A B68Dream Bully

You can easily recognize Dream Bullies, once you know their main characteristics. Here is what to what for:

Dream Bullies:

Get energy from harassing or destroying dreams.

Are afraid and judgmental of creativity, creative ideas and creative expression that comes in any shape, color or form.

Kill their own or other peoples creative ideas as soon as they are born, very often without even realizing it.

Are workaholic and spend enormous amounts of time in a work they secretly or openly dislike.

Usually disguise their fear of creativity under the mask of practical, reasonable, down to earth, or too busy with real responsibilities.

Claim to know whats best for their children but, in fact, they ignore their childrens natural talents and pressure their children to follow a path against their own wishes.

Generate frequent crises that keep their family, friends or co-workers distracted from pursuing their dreams and creative ideas.

Have chronic mysterious health problems that draw constant attention and worry from their significant others, and affect the progress of their family members or work colleagues.

See potential where it doesnt exist. As a result, they waste great amounts of time, energy and money supporting people, ideas, and projects with no potential. When they are disappointed, they convince themselves and others that they were victimized, exploited, and taken for a ride.

Enjoy great pleasure from other peoples failures and suffer pain from their successes.

Movie characters who are Dream Bullies:

Real Women Have Curves: Carmen Garcia, Anas Mother

Field of Dreams: Mark, Ray Kinsellas brother-in-law.

Billy Elliot: Jack Elliot, Billys father

How to Recognize A Dream Achiever

Dream Achievers are the complete opposite of Dream Bullies.

Draw energy from making dreams reality. This gives them a constant purpose that becomes ever more deliberate with failure.

Recognize failure as a natural part of the growth process and allow themselves and others to fail in order to learn.

Use their mind like a fresh sponge to absorb knowledge from every mistake they make, and then squeeze this knowledge out into their next effort to do better and better.

Get their inner clarity from staying connected to their dream. They are aware of their inner needs and concentrate their actions on fulfilling them.

They always know their goals are but they also know that they are in a constant process of learning. For this reason, if they fail, they do not dwell on what should have happened, but focus on how they can do better from now onward.

A great example of a Dream Achiever is that of Thomas Edison, who tried 20,000 times 5B4before he created the incandescent bulb. He never considered any of his attempts as a failure. Instead, he called them his 20,000 steps to success. He used to call failure the greatest teacher of great inventors and consider it essential in the learning process. He was a Dream Achiever who kept his laboratories staffed with hundreds of fellow Dream Achievers, all people who approached failures as opportunities for strength.

Now, think: if Thomas Edison had allowed a Dream Bully to kill his dream during his 20,000 efforts to put electricity in a bulb, how would the world be today?

Movie Characters Who Are Dream Achievers:

Working Girl: Tess McGill
Music of the Heart: Roberta Guaspari
Real Women Have Curves: Ana Garcia
Rocky: Rocky
Chariots of Fire: Eric Liddell

How Movies Can Help You Avoid Dream Bullies

Once you spot a Dream Bully in your immediate environment, you must do one thing and one thing alone: do not let him/her see your dream. Instead, seek support from allies who have nothing to lose if you make your dream reality. Create a plan of action that deflects the Dream Bullys attention to other matters, irrelevant to your dream. If necessary, create a mock tragedy to keep the Dream Bully occupied and entertained. In the mean time, go after your dream! Only you can do it!

Using movies for inspiration to follow your dreams can help you stay on track. Complete the exerci5B4ses in this section. From the following list, pick one or more movies and watch them alone or with friends. Then, answer the questions that follow.

Field of Dreams
October Sky
Billy Elliot
Working Girl
Real Women Have Curves

Questions to Answer:

1. What is the main characters dream?

2. Who is the Dream Bully?

3. How does the main character disarm the Dream Bully?

4. Is there a Dream Bully in your Life?

If you answer no, then you are very lucky! But if you answer yes, I suggest that you:

Create a support group of people who are after a dream, goal or aspiration.

Realize Your Dreams Through Astrology And Numerology

Astrology and numerology are the two sides of one coin but focuses on the well being of a human being. Both of these sciences are being practiced since the evolution of humanity. However, Asia is one place where cosmic science originated. Although it is a new concept in Europe and the United States, it is gaining popularity among the people.

Well, many people throng the places of astrologers and numerologists various reasons as it helps them in realizing their dreams and them a reason to smile. Astrology is a science of planets and stars and th2238eir changing positions whereas numerology is about numbers i.e. date of birth and letters of name. Hence, in a way both astrology and numerology are same as their purpose is to solve the unanswered queries of people who are unable to find solutions on their own. However, if one wishes to understand numerology and astrology then they have to go for in depth and extensive study of these subjects. Moreover, they need a broader perspective to look at things in a different manner.

Well, to begin, a person's astrological card is based on his or her horoscope that appears as a two dimensional chart. It shows the position of the sun, the moon, and planets at the precise moment of person's birth. The planets are frozen in their position at time of birth. It is also known as the birth chart or the natal chart. In fact, a correct interpretation of these birth positions reflects things about a person a lot. It can be thought of as the hand that has been dealt in life. This does not suggest that life has already been decided for the person and astrology can never show how the person is going to use this hand. Well it can be said that astrology reflects one's mind and thoughts. Astrology and numerology can also provide keys to understand life in general, but it does not necessarily offer clear and straight answers to problems with which people dealing with at present.

Moreover, astrology and numerology offers some insights and understanding of the reasons about the person's behavior. In fact, understanding one's astrological card may allow him or her to clearly understand and accept himself or herself better, and therefore elevate their natural attributes. Whereas numerology is the study of numbers, and the manner in which they reflect certain aptitudes and character tendencies, as an integral part of the cosmic plan. One can say that it is another significant part of astrology. In it, each letter has a numeric value that provides a related cosmic vibration. The sum of the numbers in birth date and the sum of value derived from the letters in the name provide an interrelation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal about person's character and talents. Experts use these numbers to determine the best time for major moves and activities in life. However, it is generally used to decide when to invest, when to marry, when to travel, when to change jobs, or relocate. So do not hesitate anymore and use these astrology and numerology for the betterment of oneself.

How To Design Your Dream Wedding Like A Designer

If you are in the process or planning your wedding, or perhaps if you've just begun to plan your wedding, you may have the perfect wedding design already set in your mind. You probably have all the details worked out - lush centerpieces, gorgeous fabrics, even the "right" lighting for your reception. It's great that you have decided upon all the particulars, but how do you convey your wedding vision to your vendors so that they know exactly what you want?

While it is great to know what you want, sometimes trying to place your dream wedding into words can be difficult. Let's take for example your wedding flowers. What if your wedding vision calls for purple orchids and that's exactly what you tell your florist. But did you know there are over 25,000 different types of orchids in the world? What if the florist picks something different than what you envisioned?

The easiest way to communicate your wedding day desires is to not only tell your vendors what you want, but to also show them what you want. Great interior designers plan rooms around what they call "design boards". In case you are not familiar with the term, a design board is a piece of foam board, cardboard, or poster board which contains pictures, swatches, fabrics and materials which will be incorporated into the design.

Design boards are easy to make. Finally you will have a place to put all those wedding magazine clippings you have been saving! Just purchase a few sturdy boards (how large will depend on how many pictures or items you need to place on them) and glue sticks. Make a design board for each vendor who will need to be shown what you are looking for. You should make a design board for your wedding dress, the reception location, the baker, the florist, even one for hairstyles and makeup!

If you show your vendors exactly what you are looking for, they will know exactly what you want; providing you the perfect dream wedding you are envisioning.

Why Do People Dream? - This Is A Question Asked The World Over

When we wake in the morning, or middle of the night we are intrigued by the visions that filled our head through our slumber. There have been countless books written offering analogies and explanations of those visions so that we can somehow make sense of the mini movies that we see at night while we are asleep. With all this knowledge1AD6 out there, which face it we have all at least looked at once, we are still not clear as to why these visions play in our head. Here we offer an brief explanation of why do people dream.

Firstly, it is important to state that just because you do not remember your dreams when you wake, does not mean that you did not dream while you were asleep. The basic fact is that each and every living breathing being dreams. That includes adults, babies and even animals. Though the amount of our time asleep that is spent dreaming varies, it has been scientifically proven that we all dream. Dreams are easily forgotten, and you have more then one dream a night and the one you remember when you wake is often the last one that you had.

So the Question Remains: Why do People Dream?

It is an essential part of our healthy, normal functioning life. Yes, essential. As a matter of fact there have been numerous experiments done on willing subjects where they were given medication that did not allow them to enter into REM sleep. REM sleep is when dreams take place. The deprivation of this state and dreams led to the participants becoming incredibly anxious and even abrasive. They had difficulty concentrating and exhibited other personality changes. These experiments also showed that the younger a person is the more important the dreaming is.

There are two schools of thought as to why people dream. The first is that dreaming is exercise for the mind. So your dreams do for the mind what running does for you body. The second thought as to why people dream is that it helps us deal with emotions that we experienced throughout our day that we were unable to express. So they are a response to an emotional arousal.

The key here is that they are unexpressed emotions that we had throughout the day. So if you had a screaming match with your spouse, there's a high probability that you are not going to dream about that all night because you were able to express yourself. However if someone through the day made you very angry and instead of being able to confront that anger and express it you had to simply put a smile on your face and go on about your day, that anger is an emotional arousal. Something you were not able to deal with in your day.

This is what the brain does to get rid of the "gunk" of the day. Mind you (no pun intended) that your dream is really a metaphor for that emotional arousal. So the person at work that angered you may appear as a monster of some type in your dream.

Now you can dream about the same thing on repeated nights. The way to do this is to think about them. This is how reoccurring dreams take place. A person spends time thinking about an issue or situation without resolving it, day in and day out. The mind then at night presents you with dreams that work out the scenario in different ways, offering you resolutions. So why do people dream? To help them live a healthy fully functional life.

Company Formation - The Ultimate Dream

It is every man's dream to start a business by himself; to become an entrepreneur. It's a classic romantic story -- rise from the position of being a job seeker to that of a job giver. However, like any other dream, this one also requires thorough planning and foresight. For starters, one should be very clear in his thinking about what sort of company one wants to open, for it determines how one is going to set about doing the business. The first step in the formation of the company, after one has decided about which business one wants to pursue, is to look for a decent enough place to establish an office and get going. For people with limited budget, it is advisable that they start officiating from their homes initially.

The second step into company formation would be to get the office registered. This is important for only after the office is registered can the government have the necessary correspondence with the company. Once the office is registered, the next step is to get the right employees for the job. This is also mighty important, for it is on employees that hinges the reputation and future of any organisation. It is imperative, therefore, that they be given top importance and instill a system that would allow only capable people to filter through.

Thirdly, an entrepreneur has to remain ever-alert to the existing laws as well as to the reforms that are introduced into various sections of the law from time to time. Especially if one is thinking of company formation in UK then one would do well to remember that the laws here are pretty stringent and, as such, any infringement on the part of companies can lead to harsh consequences.

If these steps are taken then one can be rest assured that company formation would prove to be a simple affair and one which will have all the potential to take the company to new heights.

Picnic Tables Available

– No Reservations RequiredBy: Kathy Moran
One of the greatest social events ever dreamed up, a picnic is a combination of food, family, friends, recreation, entertainment, and merriment. At the first sign of spring, people begin firing up their grills and taking their meals outdoors, and they don’t go back inside until the world freezes over once again. In fact, there are some year-round, die-hard barbecuers who won’t quit unless someplace much larger and hotter freezes over, too.
Although the summer is filled with picnics, little is generally known about how and where they originated. Listed as a new word, “pique-nique” first appeared in the 1692 edition of Origines de la Langue Françoise de Ménage. It is believed to have been a combination of “piquer,” meaning to “pick” or “peck” and “nique,” an obsolete word, which meant “trifle” or “little pieces.” It was described as a potluck gathering, to which everyone brought a dish, and the food, transported in the first picnic baskets, was set out for all to “peck at.”
The word “picnic” was first introduced in English in 1748. In the 19th century, a group of wealthy Londoners formed the Picnic Society to promote this fashionable social affair, to which each attendee was expected to bring food, as well as contribute some form of entertainment. It was around the middle of the century when it became associated with the outdoors, and the first picnic blankets appeared. Its rapid rise in popularity soon led to the invention of the picnic table.
Today, a picnic can be anything from a casual meal on the porch, with paper plates and plastic forks, to a formal picnic lunch, with gourmet food served on good china. It can be a large gathering at a park, or a cozy lunch for two on a picnic blanket in a scenic spot. A picnic can be a grand affair, planned or months – perhaps even catered – or a spontaneous move outdoors to enjoy the weather. No matter how differently they may be defined, however, everyone agrees that picnics are fun!
Like the picnic itself, the picnic table has undergone many transformations. With porches, decks, and patios becoming more elaborate every year, and backyard gazebos popping up in record numbers, outdoor entertaining has reached new heights. Beyond barbecues, people are hosting dinners, formal parties, and even weddings in their own backyards. In order to accommodate these diverse uses, picnic tables have been created in a variety of sizes, styles, shapes, colors, and materials, to fit any occasion.
Besides the classic, rustic-looking cedar, oak, and pine tables, there are elegant dining sets, sometimes made from cherry or teak. Other tables are constructed from virtually indestructible aluminum, thermo-plastic, vinyl, and polywood. These are the tables you’ll find lining hospital grounds, industrial parks, office complexes, and college campuses. They can be rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal, square, round, or oval, with benches attached or detached.
Indeed, there are as many versions of picnic tables as there are of picnics. To see the entire range of exciting possibilities, visit AllPicnicTables.com, a division of CedarStore.com.
