Being Flexible

In each of our lives, there will be times of joy and times of sorrow. In trauma, we are born. In trauma, we leave the world. Somewhere in the midst of living, growing, and understanding life in our maturity, we find ourselves seeking to find what we were born with. Innocence is precious. We really never lose it. We might for a time lose innocence, but life is too large for one perceptual being to embrace fully with the mind and the heart.

Innocence comes alive the moment we realize life is beyond our control, our ability to perceive, and our emotional capacity to feel. It is here we realize that life is beyond our control and we open our hearts and mind to something greater than ourselves. Our ego finds its proper place in our lives and we shift from being the central core of life's existence and attention to something much greater. At this point, we begin to place our life, our heart, our mind, and our soul into the very wisdom that has created us.

This movement from self-centered awareness to life-centered awareness allows us to perceive and have revealed to us information greater than what we know life to be to what can be known through us. Here, we become flexible with life, instead of, life having to go our way. This level of knowing creates a 6th sense, a super sense of awareness, an awareness in higher consciousness. We become more soul than body at this point. We become the awareness that brought us into this world. We become spiritual beings having a human experience. We become sons and daughters of the Universe.

When we remember who we are. We re - member ourselves back into the awareness at birth and at death. This awareness is with us always. We sometimes forget who we are. But, when we re - member who we are. We reconnect ourselves into the sense of knowing we grow through life and we also go through life. Through it all, our soul is in process of maturing and in process of remembering. With this in mind, our ups and our downs find consolation in our essence - in our spirit.

Top of Mind Awareness

Top-of-Mind Awareness (TOMA) simply means that your business is at the top of a potential customer's mind when they think of the goods or services you have to offer. Your TOMA objective is to make sure that customers think of you first and foremost when they are ready to buy.

So how can you stand out more than others who offer similar goods or services? Here are five sure-fire ways to create the TOMA your business needs.

Use repetition to breed familiarity
Use unique, unusual ways to market and to serve your customers
Use the best practices in your industry each and every time you work with a customer
Get the point that familiarity with you breeds confidence in your business
Follow up

Repetition. Repetition means presenting yourself consistently to those you network with. You are dead wrong if you fall into the trap of thinking that because you know everyone in a group and they know you, there is nothing left to say to them and no reason to attend the next event. There is always something new to say and always something new to ask. Show up, be present, focus on meeting and listening well, don't come late and leave early, make it your goal to talk to someone you haven't had time to speak with before. Every single week the people you know have changing needs, and one day what they need will be what you have to offer. Repetition puts you in the right place at the right time.

Unique marketing and service. How can you introduce your business in a way that will stick in a person's mind? How can you provide your product or service in such a way that your customer is completely delighted? Your goal after the purchase is to have your customer think you are absolutely tops. Here's what Sleep America, a seller of mattresses, does. They gained a reputation early on for sending their customers a "Breakfast in Bed" basket after the sale. How fun and unique! You can bet their customers mention that to family and friends.

Know and follow your industry's best practices. Join the associations that exist to serve your industry, and take advantage of their credentialing programs. Displaying your industry's symbols of credibility will help your business stand out. Industry associations often offer packaged training for you and your staff, too. Take advantage of this benefit and make sure you advertise that your staff meets the standard of training for your type of business.

Familiarity breeds confidence. Customers like to see and know the "face" of your business. If you are not the face they see, make sure that a very trustworthy staff person is standing in your place. Customers don't feel confident if there is a new face at the helm every time they contact you or walk into your brick and mortar store. Make sure the voice on the phone is familiar and that you don't have a revolving door receptionist. Physicians and dentists often don't get that their receptionist IS the face of their business. Pay what you need to get someone with great interpersonal skills who will not leave after 6 months on the job.

Follow up. This is where 90% of businesses fall down on the job. For the past decade or so, research has consistently shown that a potential customer has to hear from you about 12 times before they will buy. That's 12 individual incidents of calling, mailing, visiting or being seen in advertisements by prospects before they're ready to do business with you. 90% of businesses quit following up after the fourth contact. Success comes from being the 10% who follow up more than 4 times. Amazing, isn't it?

Think about what you can do to build Top-of-Mind Awareness for your business. It is fun to play with, and gives you a chance to be very creative in your business.

Do You Believe in the Bible - Religion

Do you really believe in the Bible? The other day I was listening to an audio book on the Dead Sea Scrolls. The author had a Ph.D. and of course I have no idea what the Ph.D. was in, it didn't say on the audio book cover. He made the statement below and it got me thinking about our beliefs and what we believe in.

"For those who want proof positive that the Bible is true, there's really only one thing to say for those who disbelieve no proof is possible for those who believe no proof is necessary."

The statement is coming from an educated person and it kind of sounds like an oxymoron. For those who want proof positive that the Bible is true, there is really only one thing to say, for those who disbelieve no proof is possible. What does that mean to a Christian and this same statement applies to most religions throughout the world. If you want proof positive, there really isn't any is there.

Researchers can prove certain parts of the Bible like, people's names and that some of these people were actually alive and have some history to them, geographical locations like cities, rivers and oceans, and some beneficial facts to religious believers. I don't want to single just the Bible out here, other religious text can't be proven, proof positive.

There are a lot of sections in the Bible that quite possibly could never be proven. Unless of course God or some sort of superior being with superior knowledge could give us positive proof that the Bible was true. This of course would eliminate the need for faith and faith is pretty much the most important part of believing in most religions.

Let's take the last part of the statement, "for those who believe no proof is necessary". Where do we draw the line between belief and facts, where do we draw a line between faith and truth. What is it going to take to get religious believers to start doing some research on their religious beliefs, instead of following with only faith. You should question your religion.

If you're going to believe in something like the Bible, you have no right to question someone else's beliefs and their religion. The next time a Christian judges a Muslim or Hindu about their beliefs, start thinking about yours a little more clearly, before you pass judgment on someone else who is living their life based on faith.

What is Releasing?

A lot of people are getting into the concept of releasing negative emotions and thoughts. Various techniques and concepts have been created to explain better ways of releasing.

More and more modern ideas are pointing to the need to heal from within, and that we need to learn how to look deeper inside of ourselves and let the answers generate from within.

But how? Many ask.

Here is what I strongly believe is the best way.

The most important piece is to have a belief that you have the ability within you to heal yourself, and this belief need not be a complete belief or knowing. If you have even a little belief or even a desire to believe then you will be able to heal yourself faster and with more permanent results than anything else you have tried in the past. An important question to ask yourself is have the things you have tried in the past truly healed you the way you want. If so, you probably don't need to continue with this stuff, and please give me your ideas to try for myself.

Any way, start where you are and begin practicing being present. I won't go into too many specific aspects of presence or acceptance in this article, and if you want more info try reading The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle or Your Sacred Self by Dr. Wayne Dyer. And if you do not agree with everything you read, try gleaning what does make sense to you.

There are three basic parts of living that we all experience throughout our lives, and they are being in Present Moment Awareness, Acceptance and Releasing or Letting Go.
The problem with us now and throughout out history is that we have developed too many negative conditioned responses due to the controlling nature of the mind or ego.

We have learned to trust and rely on the mind or ego more than the intuitive knowing that is already within all of us.

So we automatically set up our lives to being Aware of what has been taught to us or what our mind has told us is best for us. We Accept what makes us fit in, or feel a part of, and we Release many of the things that we need to learn to accept before letting them go. We do this constantly and automatically throughout our lives. Don't get me wrong, there are many things our minds tell us that do align with our Truer Selves. The problem with this is that by relying on the ego to lead, we only heal in part, and when disturbed the ego will retaliate. The ego will at times do this through excessive questioning or out and out sabotage.

As we learn how to recondition ourselves to learn how to let our truer selves lead, then we will heal quicker and with more permanent results. Not that we should focus on the results, but instead learn to stand in the process. Also the process for true change will be less painful, and you will see material things in your world change for the better. The process of Present Moment Awareness, Acceptance and Letting Go may seem a bit uncomfortable in the beginning, but if we follow the simple process, it gets easier over a very short period of time. Please don't believe the lie from yours or anyone's ego. Healing does not have to take a long time. You have the opportunity to make dramatic and lasting change in your life in a very short period of time. As we live the simple process of Present Moment Awareness Acceptance and Releasing/Letting Go, we heal with less on going pain, there is more peace and happiness in our lives, and more importantly we begin more and more helping others.

This next part will focus more on the specifics of releasing.

By practicing being aware of or looking at the dominant emotions sensations and thoughts, we begin to get clearer pictures of what is truly going on inside. While practicing looking or being the observer, you become more comfortable with accepting whatever you are thinking or feeling, and it becomes easier to let those feelings or thoughts go.

An example might go like this:

As much as you can in this moment let yourself relax. You might want to close your eyes to not have too many outside distractions, but that's not necessary. Now in this moment what is the dominant feeling, perception or thought? It's better to focus on the emotion instead of the thought because emotions are more specific. Now allow whatever emotion or dominant thought to arise. Try not to judge it or yourself or anyone and just let yourself dwell in the emotion. This alone may be helping you to feel a sense of peace. If so, you have just Released. What can often happen here is that the questioning mind will say things like this is not working, or I need to understand what is happening. Just come back to this moment and be as aware of the emotion or dominant thought as you possible can.

Accept/Embrace the emotion behind the thought in this moment as much as you can. A good sign you are releasing may be a deeper sense of peace, a deep breath, or even bigger
questioning by the mind. Try as best as you can in this moment to be aware or observe the questioning without judging it or yourself. As you become more in touch with these negative emotions and thoughts you will feel more of a knowing when you need to release or accept or to just stand in the awareness.

The more you live the process, the easier it becomes and the more natural you are able to be at any part of your process. You will find at times the process is happening automatically in a good way. Try not to let the ego tell you that you are not doing it right, or you must understand what is happening. You will be learning more and more to trust in yourself and as you see the continued growth and healing and acts of synchronicity, you will have more knowing, confidence and motivation to stay in this place where your life is.

And remember this. The most important aspect of living is to practice being in Present Moment Awareness/In the Presence of God/Being in the Now. And what all of these terms express is your connection to your Source. And when you are here you have a knowing that you are going in a right direction. Sometimes you may not feel you are with your source. Try to stay in this spaciousness and not let the selfish ego tell you that you are not here. A good way of knowing that you are here is by having your attention focused within and without at the same time. You can practice this as an intention, and over a period of time this beingness will become a more natural reality. Try not to question whether it is coming from your ego or Spirit, instead you may want to if questioning occurs, go through the releasing process to find the answers from within. If you feel you are getting close, try not to force yourself to go deeper, instead stay in acceptance until you answers come more peacefully and naturally. There will be evidence over a short period of time. Give yourself as least three months or so, and you will see dramatic results. Learn to let your Truer Self guide you toward when you need to Release, Accept or stand in Present Moment Awareness.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't let the selfish ego fool you into going back on the merry-go-round of the conditioning of the world or cause you to excessively analyze and intellectualize from the outside in. You can get answers this way, but it will take you a very long time, and most likely you will either stop using mind based helps, or go to another technique or method that the latest guru is saying is the way to go.

Other techniques that can give you an idea of releasing are The Sedona Method and The Releasing Technique or Lester Levinson's ideas.

I do not agree in full with others' processes, methods or techniques. I have been able to glean for myself what works best. Try not too judge them negatively, and instead be open to the solutions they have for you, and let go of the rest.

The Future of World Religions at the Cross Roads

The Catholic Pope is now under fire from Islam for comments made during a speech, which was like a history lesson about the wars between religion of the past and why they should be reviewed and prevented in the future. Unfortunately, it was misinterpreted by the Islamic Clerics and now we have yet another issue akin to the cartoons that offended the Muslim World. Is it the Catholic World we should scold for the comments of the Pope or should we scold the Muslim World for blowing it up out of context?

This clash of religion and wars has gone on too long. Who is at fault? Well we all are for allowing these conflicts to permeate our minds, TV sets and the World Mass Media, but really all-religion is problematic, Mankind needs to grow up, ditch religion and experience a little acceleration in forward progression of this species.

Some say we are moving too close to WWIII others say it has already started. Yes we are in the midst of WWIII; the conflict in Israel and cease fire and then the attack on US Embassy in Syria, kind of says it all, negotiation is not possible, so action must be taken Carl von Clauswitz style. Meanwhile if Islam does an international terrorist attack on Vatican, then the Italians will indeed strike at the heart of Islam. Do we really need to destroy human culture and history or can we agree to ditch religion without the scattering of human sacrifice across the desert sands? Consider this in 2006.

Crispin the Cross of Lead - Book Review

Newbery Medal winner of 2003, Crispin The Cross of Lead is an action packed historical novel set in the 1380's of England's peasant revolt. The protagonist is a thirteen year old peasant boy known only as "Asta's Son" (Asta being the boys mother) because he has never been called by his own name. In fact he doesn't know he has a name until his mother dies. The village priest discloses he baptized him and gave him the Christian name of Crispin.

Also, after Crispin's mother dies the only home he has ever known is burned to the ground. Crispin is forced to begin his life as a fugitive for thievery and murder. He is declared a "wolf's head" by the corrupt steward John Aycliffe, for crimes he didn't commit. This means that anyone can kill him like a common animal and collect a sizeable reward.

Feudalism is the way of life for many in 14th century England. There are countless taxes that lowly peasants must pay and constant violence. People were either very poor or very rich. Common people had no say over their destiny. The church is unable to protect parishioners and subject to many cruelties.

"Time was the great millstone, which ground us to dust like kerneled wheat. The Holy Church told us where we were in the alterations of the day, the year, and in our daily toil. Birth and death alone gave distinction to our lives, as we made the journey between the darkness from whence we had come to the darkness where we were fated to await Judgment Day."

There are plenty of chase scenes as well as undisclosed plans shrouded in mystery. Avi develops a couple of compelling characters but Bear, a traveling juggler, will become Crispin's deliverance from the bounty hunters that follow them everywhere. The relationship between the juggler and the peasant become the heart of the story.

3 Steps to Make Your Dreams a Reality - Make Your Dreams Come True

I am in the process of looking for a house. How exciting, how exhilarating, how exasperating-depending on what I choose it to be. Making such a large purchase and significant decision in my life brings up an old story-the one I tell myself about not deserving or being able to afford what I really want. When I found myself saying to a stranger in the grocery store, "This is where I want to live, but I can't really afford it," I realized I needed to change my story.

The story you choose to tell, whether it is about buying a house, starting a new relationship, having a child-or whatever dreams or goals you're working toward-is true, because you make it true at some level of consciousness. We initially create our stories because we think they will protect us, but in the end they merely limit us, keeping us stuck. How empowering it is to know that our thoughts (stories) create our reality and we get to choose them!

Here are three steps to help you choose your new story:

Visualize it.
In your mind's eye, see exactly what you want and be very specific about what it looks like, feels like, even smells like. My perfect house is a bright, open, historically restored bungalow centrally located with a fenced backyard and walking distance to a park and coffee shop.

Tell it.
You anchor your new story by telling as many people as possible, with at least one new person every day. With each person I tell about my perfect house, I get clearer, so I will recognize it when I see it.

Act on it.
The first two steps are lost if you don't take action. I look for homes in neighborhoods I want to live in. I preview homes that meet my specifications and price range.

Keep visualizing your new story, telling it as many times as possible in a day, and then take action-even just a small step-to start making it a real part of you, ingrained at your very cellular level.

What do you want to change your current story about? Is it a relationship, your financial situation, job, or health and fitness? Follow these steps and let me know how it changes your life when you change your story. And I'll let you know when I move into my perfect house.

Eye Body Language - How to Use Eye Body Language to Build Trust and Be Liked

Of all the nonverbal communication signals, eye body language is probably the most fascinating. They say the eyes are "the windows to the soul." I agree, since your eyes pretty much reveal your inner thoughts and feelings.

Even more amazing is the fact that you can use eye body language to build trust and make people like you. Here's how:

Making eye contact is the key.

You must make eye contact around 70% of the time if you want to convey your sincerity and respect. Avoiding eye contact unconsciously gives the impression of dishonesty, shyness, anxiety, or humiliation.

If you continuously avoid making eye contact, you might be perceived as someone who is insecure, unreliable or even deceitful. Although that may not be the case, that's the normal impression that people have of someone who can't look at them straight in the eye.

If you're too timid or are afraid to make eye contact, just look at the bridge of the nose or the portion between their eyes, and they'll think that you're looking at them.

Be aware of your eye body language.

Some people unconsciously send body language signals that offend other people, so be sensitive to your eye movements. Don't roll your eyes, as this indicates irritation.

Your eyes glow if you're in a pleasant or joyous state, and they look dull when you're lonely or depressed. So if you're having problems or in a bad mood, it might be a good idea to re-schedule your appointment with an important person. Your eyes will unconsciously send signals of your mood or state of mind.

Reveal your eyes.

Avoid wearing sunglasses, because covering up the eyes might give the impression that you're hiding something. Since eyes are very expressive, not allowing people to see your eyes' implies that you don't want them to know how you feel or think. It also makes the other party feel uneasy because they don't know if you're looking at them or not.

Know what people's eye body language means.

How do you know if people are paying attention to you? You'll know it when they establish eye contact while either nodding their heads, smiling, and/or leaning closer.

If they raise their eyebrows, they might want to say or clarify something, end the conversation, or have disagreed with something you've said.

People who deliberately evade your eyes and show no intention of giving you a glance are probably not interested in talking to you, so it may be a good idea to keep away from them.

Don't look if they don't like to be looked at.

Be aware of people who might get offended by looking at them. Some people avoid eye contact because of extreme shyness; so don't add to their discomfort by staring at them.

Some cultures may consider eye contact as a negative or disrespectful act, so be sensitive when you're meeting people of different cultures and adjust accordingly to their beliefs.

Aside from reading eye body language, check other nonverbal signals so you'll have a more accurate assessment of what they're thinking or feeling.

11 Things You Can Do Today to Begin Creating Your Dream Life

Many times people are drawn to the negative, so the pursuit of creating your dream life can be hard work. You need to train your brain to think positive again, like when you were a kid. You have to learn how to rid your mind of all the negative thoughts and emotions learned over the years and just remember the lessons learned.

It may seem simple enough to think positive, but when you are used to thinking negatively, it can be very hard. You will subconsciously be inclined to go to the negative if it connects you and another person. You have to make a conscious effort to fight off the negative thoughts and only focus on the positive ones. Sometimes it can feel and be like a battle, but you can do it if you embrace the idea and thoughts that can come with it. On the flip side, by being a positive thinker, your issues with fighting off negative thoughts will become easier since they eventually cease to exist or become a very small part of your thoughts. That's because your positive thoughts are going to be overriding any negative ones. Just like fears, they are created in our mind - most of the time never coming true. You will have the necessary will power to stop negative thoughts in their tracks. You just have to learn to focus your energy on the right things in your life.

Look at the most successful people around you, who are they friends with, what do they do in their free time? (How do you personally define success? Hmmm...) Do they take time out of their day to spend with their friends and family or do they sit in front of the TV or computer like a programmed robot by themselves? You have to fully immerse yourself into positive thinking and creating your dream life for anything to happen. You have to surround yourself with positive influences. You have to be very focused on the positive and be committed to pushing away the negative thoughts and beliefs. There are always things beyond your control, however it is how you react to these things that create your future.

Here are some things you can do right now to start creating your dream life and make positive thinking easier:

1. Focus on positive thinking and positive things. This includes reading books that are upbeat like "21 Days To Creating Your Dream Life", "The Power of Positive Thinking", "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" or "Awaken the Giant Within". The list goes on and on. Sometimes you just need to learn a new way to look at things.

2. Visualize. You have to imagine yourself being positive, acting positive and thinking positive, doing positive things for others. You should picture positive things in your mind and allow yourself to think and feel these positive situations. Catch yourself when you focus on the negatives and stop yourself. Start thinking and focusing on the good versus the bad. Not everything is in our control, but how you approach everyday situations can determine how you perceive them.

3. Use positive words in your everyday conversations. Avoid negative ones as much as possible. Watch how your friends and coworkers interactions with you change. Try and make your conversations and thoughts positive. When you are thinking to yourself, use positive words - get rid of the negative self-talk. Most people like to be around other positive people.

4. Stop making excuses. What holds many people back from being a success? Excuses. Hold yourself accountable for accomplishments, learn from past failures - but don't dwell on them or make excuses for them. Live in the moment, not in the past.

5. Give time, money, or knowledge to help others. When you give in any form, you will feel better about yourself. If helping at a shelter, a retirement home, a hospital, you may learn how lucky or wealthy you already are, be it in the form of friends or financially. Surprisingly, you will likely learn new things with everything you do.

6. Be aware of negative thoughts. When you have a negative thought, you have to recognize it and replace right away with a positive thought. Think about where the negative thought came from, why you had it and how to deal with it. Being a positive thinker does not mean you can avoid all negative things. It means you learn how to constructively deal with negativity and how not to allow negativity to influence you.

7. Be persistent with positive thinking. Positive thinking should become second nature to you. You want to train your subconscious to be positive. Don't let a day go by without making sure you are thinking positive. Put your energy into focusing on what's right, not what's wrong. Stop yourself when thinking negatively. Be thankful for what you have today. Health, love, shelter, family, friends...

8. Identify the fears that cause you to think negatively. Most of the time, when a fear is confronted, it ends up not being as intimidating as it first seemed. Fear is simply your minds lack of being able to see that bad things will not always happen. When you learn to let go of fear and trust in yourself you will see it is much easier to stay positive.

9. Watch your emotions. Try to stick to feelings of happiness, so that success and strength dominates you internally. Try to avoid feelings of weakness, fear and self-doubt.

10. Do things that make you happy. Watch happy movies, read happy books and listen to happy upbeat music. Surround yourself with happiness and you will begin to react to that.

11. Smile. Use your smile to project your positive attitude. Let your smile speak for you. If you do nothing else, then put a smile on your face. It will do a world of wonder.

Make positive thinking part of your lifestyle. It is just like changing anything else in your life. Let's say you're giving up smoking. You're not going to tempt yourself with carrying around a pack of cigars or cigarettes or really want to be around people who smoke. Will you? The same can be said for positive people.

Make sure you're ready for such a big change in your life. Ask yourself some important questions such as: Are you ready to be a positive thinker? Are you ready to let go of the negative thoughts and patterns? Are you ready to become and think more optimistically? Can you let go of the things that don't really matter and look on the bright side of things? Are you willing to work towards becoming a positive thinker? Being true to yourself, you have to answer yes to these questions to be able to become a positive thinker enabling you to create your dream life.

What you eat could very well be affecting your anxiety symptoms. Our bodies need a balanced diet in order to function properly. The foods we eat can not only affect our physical health, but our mental health as well. Some foods to avoid are drinks with caffeine, such as coffee and tea, chocolate, drinks and foods made with refined sugar, and processed foods. Include a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, nuts and whole grains, plus make sure you are getting enough calcium, magnesium, iron and potassium. Most of the vitamins and minerals necessary for good nutrition can be found in the foods we eat, but if your diet is lacking in these minerals, a supplement may be necessary.

Exercise

You know how important exercise is to keep your body fit and healthy, but a lack of exercise can increase anxiety symptoms. Exercising can help to relieve stress and release endorphins.

Endorphins are the "feel good" hormones which make you feel better after a work out. Getting at least thirty minutes of exercise a day can help alleviate stress and lead to better mental wellness.

Relaxation Techniques

As soon as you begin to feel stressed or anxious, start using relaxation techniques until you feel calmer. There are several techniques you can use, including breathing exercises, taking a bath, listening to music, taking a walk, or working on a hobby. The key is to pick an activity you enjoy and use that activity as your stress reliever. This can help to divert your thoughts to the what you are doing instead of focusing on the situation causing your anxiety.

Sleep

Getting enough sleep each night can greatly help when you suffer from anxiety. If you are having trouble sleeping, try using some of the relaxation techniques above. Also, before you get ready for bed, try to keep away from any type of activity which makes you feel anxious, such as watching news programs or balancing your checkbook.

Be Positive

Think positive thoughts as much as possible. Having a positive attitude will help you to have a better outlook on life. Negativity will usually just add to stress and anxious feelings, so it is best to avoid negative thoughts, actions and even people as much as possible.

These self help anxiety methods can get you started with basic ways to ease your suffering and get relief.

Finally, you can also take more steps to live your life free of panic and anxiety attacks. Make your decision now to change your life for the better and get back into control by going to http://www.banish-anxiety.blogspot.com/ for more tips and help today. You deserve to live your life full of joy and peace!

The above is not medical advice and is just for informational purposes. However, if you are suffering from anxiety, you should seek treatment as soon as possible.

Why Would You Lie to Boost Your Self-Esteem?

Do you lie to boost you self-esteem? Making yourself look good in front of others is meaningless if you are not being true to yourself. You will just end up living in Never-Never Land. The truth will always catch up with you. If you start off being honest in the first place, you are actually giving yourself the strongest starting point to get to where you want to go. You can easily identify what needs to change.

You can argue it is human nature to lie in from of certain people as to save face. Lying uncontrollably in certain situations will prevent you from looking bad. The consequences of lying are further reaching. You may feel you self esteem is boosted in that instant but really it will just create more stress and anxiety for you. You have set a perception of what is now expected of you. If you cannot achieve what you said you can, you will have to tell more lies in order to maintain the perception.

The mountain of lies you create will eventually just cause you to slip up as lies start to contradict themselves. You said one thing to one person, something else to another. Someone somewhere will rumble this, doubt the congruence of your life and also lose respect for you. This will damage any relationship.

So why do you lie? It is because your self-esteem feels threatened. And as your brain does not know the difference between reality and a vivid imagination, you boost your self esteem by deceiving it with the lies. You are only cheating yourself. The only way to stop this is to build a real foundation of self-esteem by accepting who you are right now.

The Crystal of Atlantis Was Made Up of Seven Faceted Rings

The whole universe formed into a crystalline lattice at the time of the big bang. It is in the forming of the lattice that we find the necessary processes to give birth to new creations. Without the ice structure to reflect off of, the initial light would have scattered out into the far reaches of the universe. The forming of the superstructure allowed containment of the light and reflection of the light, without which there could have been no vibrations and therefore no life forms.

Each universe formed a lattice of twelve "corners," if you will, because of the refraction from the superstructure, and each solar system formed in its own corner of the lattice. There is a distinct order to these solar systems. The lattice is responsible for the vibrations.

The grid map that we have over our planet is a small part of this crystalline lattice of the universe. The rays of the suns between the universes and the superstructure strike the crystalline lattice containing each universe and cause several reactions to take place. To begin with, it separates the universe into a network of vibratory fields which manifest in different dimensions. These dimensions then operate and grow and evolve within their own vibratory field.

Picture it as a crystal or diamond that the sun shines on. Each facet of the crystal will give off or emit the colored light of its particular musical tone. There are twelve musical tones in each crystalline lattice that formed at beginning creation. These lattices are made up of ice that formed out of the superstructure of the explosion. They became frozen streams of time and space. This was the theory behind the huge crystal at Atlantis.

The Crystal of Atlantis was dark red but had a mottled look, showing dark and light spots in the inside. It was fairly large in size, about thirty feet in diameter at the bottom, narrowing in to perhaps five feet at the crown. It was based on mathematics; it was faceted according to the mathematical calculations of the course of the sun. It did not track by turning but tracked the sun by faceting. Because the sun was constantly moving, this involved a series of facets so fine as to be almost one solid ring around the crystal. And there was more than one ring. There were seven rings around the crystal all faceted or carved with the most intricate, precision-like cuts. The cuts caught the sun's rays and each ring caught them differently according to its pattern.

The reflected auras of the crystal were then caught and harnessed at different areas of the land. The channels between each facet allowed maximum storage of the ray in any particular area at one time. Then it would be picked up by the next "station." One ring was for air transportation, one was for communication with space ships, one was for energy to run pumping systems for irrigation purposes, one was for growing food itself and the final one, as far as being useful to everyone, was for healing the people. There was one more that was used for secret work by the priests. The topmost ring itself was used to energize the crystal so the other six rings were more potent than they would have been without the seventh or top ring. It was an accentuator ring.

The color of red came from the stone the crystal was carved from. It was polished and the surface was smooth with all the intricate faceting being on the underneath side. If the facets had been directly exposed to the sun it would immediately have caused havoc in all the land due to the chaotic and powerful rays that would have been shooting off the crystal. The only way to control it was to have the facets on the underneath side and then control them with the accentuating ring at the top of the crystal. This was all mathematically designed. The stone that was used was brought from another planet. There is no such stone available on the earth today.

These teachings are based on the Science of Music, which is the fundamental vibrational order and creative nature of the universe. The vibrations of music affecting her body since she was four years old is what allowed this opening to take place.

How You Can Avoid New Age Guilt Sabotaging Your Self Esteem

Owing mostly to the proliferation of the 'self help' genre ... books ... seminars
... chat shows ... a relatively new phenomena is plaguing many people's consciousness.

My colleagues and I call it 'New Age Guilt'.

And what is worse ... it can seriously devastate self esteem and eat into our
feelings of confidence
.

I know, I know, you want to know if you've 'got' it ... and whether you
have or not, how you should be avoiding it.

And this is precisely my point.

The world of marketing has managed to convince us that we are vulnerable to just
about any affliction - or that without some 'product' (that they of course happen
to be marketing), we are somehow not completely fulfilled. (Hey I'm a marketer
too ... don't think I don't know the tricks! Of course how you use them for good
in the world is the real key to positive karma.)

So even as I tell you that you may be suffering from 'New Age Guilt', you might
already be thinking about the terrible consequences this could have on your life/family/marriage/relationships/finances.Simply
because we have been conditioned to think that way.

OK so far ... now let's take the case of someone who is having a little trouble
in life. Not feeling too good about themselves or their present situation, they
look for help. Self help perhaps.

And after a little research - maybe in the local bookstore, on the 'net, watching
a little Oprah, they come to the conclusion that they 'have' low self esteem.

Now instead of the relief you think they might feel at finding the supposed cause
to their problem, things start to go downhill from here. The first onset of New
Age Guilt begins to creep in.

Because now, they research a little further still and are variously told by experts
that self esteem is largely self produced. Hmmm, needs a little more research
... um, exactly how is it 'self produced'?

Well you see, "thought is creative" (true). "And from our thoughts spring our
reality" (hmmm, but do go on ...)."So our current reality is created by our own
selves" (It is? Wow.). "And you need to 'take responsibility' for what you have
created" (You what? Are you saying I did this to myself?).

"In fact, you created this mess ... so you better shape up and work out what 'baggage'
you must be carrying; then once you clear it out, everything will be fine".

Oh no. It's all my fault. I should have known it was all my fault. I created this
mess. I'm not really a very good person, I made everything bad around me and what's
worse I don't even know how I did it. I'm awful. What am I going to do? I don't
feel good, I've got low self esteem and I've just found out it's all my own fault.

Inspiring isn't it?

Yet I've personally known people who have totally taken this on board as 'the
truth' and then use it to beat themselves up even further.

"OH NO, YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE!", I silently yell to them, because if I point
out they've taken on a flawed belief (That "I am responsible for everything around
me"), they'll feel EVEN WORSE!

But it does make ones life as a coach or counselor somewhat difficult.

Because to first work with low self esteem - and indeed low self confidence -
one needs to empower the person to find some light at the end of the tunnel, to
open their own door just a crack and to like what they see inside ... and
not the opposite!

So how to do this?

Well I believe in two key approaches.

Approach No.1

I learned this from a self esteem colleague, Jack Canfield (perhaps better known
for his 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' series).

Jack says: "Stuff Happens"

"But it's how you RESPOND to it that matters."

Who cares who 'created it', whose 'baggage' it is, whether it means I am a 'good'
or 'bad' person.

Find a way to take action and respond and you'll feel a whole lot better.

Swim around in the agony of your guilt about creating it and you'll feel a whole
lot worse. New Age Guilt. A whole self help industry is built on it.

Approach No.2

The second is to re-condition yourself to believe that the way you are right now
is totally OK.

THERE IS NOTHING 'WRONG' WITH YOU!

We all need to accept that everything we say and do is based upon the fact that
we are doing the best we can with what we know. It's all you can ever
do.

Do not underestimate the power of affirmations.

The next time you find yourself being drawn into feeling unworthy or low in confidence
because you might have some new-fangled 'syndrome' or are lacking in some vital
product, say to yourself:

"I am perfect the way I am right now."

"I accept myself the way I am right now."

"At any given moment, I am doing the best I can."

Focus on your own continued improvement.

What skills can you learn to grow, develop and maximize your range of positive
emotions and positive thoughts?

THAT is how to raise self esteem.

Now go and do something to feel good. Call someone, kiss someone, make someone's
day.

Have a great day!

30 Days to Creating Super Habits

Creating super habits are easier than you could ever imagine. Most people have something they would like to change in their lives. If you ask anyone, they are usually able to answer this question, "If you could change anything about yourself, what would you change." All the self help and personal development programs and books available today are full of useful information that nobody seems to take advantage of. You've seen the TV commercials and listen to other people tell their stories, about how they lost weight.

Are you one of those skeptics that find these stories hard to believe. Do you think it's possible to create a life changing habit within 30 days? If you don't think it's possible, have you ever tried to change something about yourself you don't like.

If you haven't tried, how do you know it's impossible. If you have tried to create change in your life, did you quit, did you quit shortly after you started. This is often what most people do. They either quit before they start and never even get started, or they quit within a short period of time after they started. Usually these people have an excuse, most of the time their excuse is quite simply, it was harder than I thought.

Creating super habits in 30 days is possible and you don't have to be an over achiever to accomplish this goal. Creating these habits will require some effort on your part but the rewards most of the time are worth the effort.

I challenge you to change something about yourself you don't like within the next 30 days.

Go to the next step for more information.

A Review of "Transformational Life Coaching" - A Book For Mentors and Mentees Everywhere

There are many different indicators in today's world demonstrating that humanity has reached a new level of awareness and appreciation for its own existence. If we look at the shifts in the types of occupations being pursued (and sought after), the abundance of life coaches and personal development mentors is like a mirror held up to our collective psyche. It seems to say that life is a precious experience, and we simply want to be sure that we're present for it in every way possible. To coin a somewhat overused phrase: We seek to live authentically.

In 1977, long before having a "life coach" was something commonly discussed at Starbucks, Dr. Cherie Carter-Scott published her first book on the subject and began a career that eventually, would find her labeled, "The Mother of Coaching." New Species (published in 1978) was to become the first of many books Dr. Scott would write on personal development. The long list includes, "Negaholics," a series of 'Rules' books - including "If Life is a Game, These are the Rules," and her most recent work, "Transformational Life Coaching."

Transformation Life Coaching throws open the doors to Life Coaching School and invites us all inside. Although written for those who either are, or espouse to become, mentors in the transformational movement, this book is an accessible "how to" for anyone. It welcomes all those who have spent time seeking to develop a better appreciation with their own life and how they intend to live it. Chapter 1 literally outlines what to look for and how to choose a coach, offering twenty-five important questions to discuss during the interview process.

In this book, Dr. Scott has created a virtual concordance of information, challenges for personal thought patterns and judgment, practical exercise and reference tools to use over and over. Embracing many global teachings, Dr. Scott often refers to the different chakras, or energy centers, as tools to release the ego and be of maximum service to others. As she explains, "You are in the process of opening up and taking control of your power," and by deeply understanding each energy center, we will be able to literally, "open and close each chakra at will."

Imagine being able to consciously open the fifth chakra (which controls speech and communication) in order to more fully participate in our marriage or work relationships - or being able to close down our first chakra, which embodies survival and security, so that we might be more risky and daring in our professional roles or fearlessly take on new adventures in life.

Dr. Scott has spent most of her professional life traveling the world and sharing her expertise on personal empowerment and development at every turn. On her website she shares that, "Writing a book is not done with the wave of a wand. It takes time to reflect and soul search for the universal truths related to each developmental phase." These same words could definitely be applied to the very journeys that Dr. Scott encourages us to make with our lives.

What we know about coaching is that it is not only sought after, but it is necessary in today's fast-paced world of endless challenges. From corporate teams to softball teams, being coached and coaching others on how to live as appreciatively and authenticity as possible is a proactive way to turn roadblocks into paving stones on your road of success.

Unleash to Freedom - Expand Your Awareness and Consciousness - Part 1

The majority of individuals find it difficult to step out of the mind, because they seem to only focus on the power of the mind and on their external drama games within their reality. To step outside the box is to realize that the mind is very limited to how it perceives things and it only defines what it understands. The 'mind doesn't know beyond what it knows' so it can only interpret and perceive words, statements, events and scenarios to your level of consciousness, your level of worth and that is, how you see and treat yourself.

There are 3 aspects about human consciousness:

1. Understanding Consciousness
2. Expanding Your Consciousness Changes Your Reality
3. The Outcome of Expanding Your Consciousness is Different

Let's take a look at each individual category:

1. Understanding Consciousness - Consciousness is your level of awareness, understanding, acceptance and wisdom - it is your level of truth based on your past experiences brought together and expressed in the now. Human consciousness can be either high or low and reflects the level of evolutionary growth a person is at. As your consciousness expands and grows, you see yourself and your life through different eyes and the meaning or defining of words and events also expands.

2. Expanding Your Consciousness Changes Your Reality - As your self-awareness develops your interpretations, perceptions and belief system will change, therefore your wisdom, acceptance and understanding of the words and events used and the understanding and perception about the experience will expand. As you raise your consciousness level, you will act and react differently to certain situations. The drama games that you once may have negatively reacted to, do not have to affect you now and in doing so you will attract different scenarios to you.

3. The Outcome of Expanding Your Consciousness is Different -When you take on the drama games of mass consciousness, you act out that game, you play that masquerade story game until you are finished playing with it in your sand pit - when you say 'enough is enough'. This means you will stop playing that game of who you think you are.

When you choose to release that story of defining certain event and how you perceive situations, when you choose to unleash old wounds and set these stuck energies free that is when you will grow and expand in consciousness. That is when you will come to understand that every experience that you have had, has served you and you will be able to see the beauty, the gift and the joy in giving yourself that experience. It is by having these experiences that you have developed the wisdom, understanding, acceptance and compassion that inspires and expands your consciousness. When you have gained the wisdom from an experience you will be able to look back to see the overall 'boxed-in' belief system and overlays that you have been caught up in. You will realize that the overall collective majority of humanities consciousness is not at the same level of awareness as you and you will begin to disconnect from getting caught up in their drama games of suffering and bliss.

The Law of Attraction and the Lottery?

Many people wonder if the law of attraction will help them win the lottery. In theory it might, although you would have to suspend disbelief 100% and keep on with that faith even as you come up with losing ticket after losing ticket. It is possible.

WANT TO KNOW A MORE EFFECTIVE APPROACH?

Why waste all of your time wishing about the lottery. It's the money and the freedom that you REALLY want. Why not use the law of attraction to attract a specific amount of money and then you will have that freedom?

If you really want to live the good life all you have to do is to set your mind to a specific amount, lets say $ 3 million. For most people, this would give them the freedom and all of the shiny things that they want. Then start to map out possible strategies to achieve that $ 3 million. It's not nearly as hard as you might think it is. With $ 10,000 earning 10 percent per month, you would have that $ 3 million in about five years.

The more you break down what you really want, the easier it will seem inside of your mind. And your mind produces all of the "magic" that we are looking for. So you can break that down even further and find a way to get that $ 10,000. Once you have that, it is up to you to find a way to get that 10 percent per month. As anyone who has traded stocks actively can tell you, that is entirely possible with just one trade per month.

There are many other ways you can achieve that ten percent. The point I am trying to make is that we use the lottery as an "easy" way out. But the more we approach it from a different perspective, the more we will find many ways that are actually easier because they are more probable. Dream big and you WILL achieve something more substantial than just a lottery win.

You don't have to win the lottery to achieve wealth and independence. Go to http://www.successfulfather.com and sign up for the FREE newsletter and BOOKMARK the site to come back again and again.

Mental Fitness - Anger is Destructive

An angry person is reacting, usually without conscious thought and often from emotional rather than rational issues. Our concept of someone who is mentally well does not include displays of anger. Nor do we like to feel repressed anger in the personality, whether our own or our companion's. We do not sanction anger in our concept of mental fitness and well being but rather recognize it as a symptom of mental illness.

Anger is an example of emotional energy from the subconscious proving capable of erupting like a volcano and having an equal potential to harm or hurt.

That hurt begins with the physical and psychic hurt to the one who is angry - increased blood pressure, nervous and muscular tension, loss of normal function of body processes, and by contributing to a totally negative self image. In retrospect, no one reflects with joy upon their anger or is proud of their demonstrated loss of self control.

As emotional energy and repressed feelings can erupt violently, when extreme can lead to road rage, violence towards others and 'crimes of passion' including murder. People who suffer rage destroy property, inflict hurt on themselves or others, and are often inclined when provoked by circumstances, to suicide.

There is nothing positive about anger, which can cause such internal and external harm.

Anger is a character weakness that makes the angry person vulnerable. Not only does it demonstrate to others a loss of self control but often reveals a trigger spot in the ego that others may take advantage of in the future. It can be argued that there are times to express 'righteous' anger or indignation. But these words describe two different reactions.

Perhaps without feeling angry and retaining full self control, parents well know the need to exercise the skill to portray anger in the upbringing of children, but this demands of course that there it stays - as a tool or leash, not as a weapon.

Unfortunately anger is infectious. It is usual that when someone displays anger towards us, that we react and respond angrily, even though we were relaxed to begin with. It takes a great deal of will to resist such reactions and learning such control becomes an important discipline for those wishing to create mental fitness as well as physical health.

Those who are in good mental state of health enjoy being in command of themselves and generally choose to act rather than to react in this way.

Sally Janssen is an writer and educator who from an early age trained in Raja Yoga--that branch of the ancient science that deal with the mind and its complexities. She subsequently gained an international reputation for her skills and her wisdom in the training of the mind.

Popular Trends With Subliminal Messages

Subliminal messages, super shorts bursts of either invisible or inaudible messages that you do not pick up in a conscious manner, are growing in popularity today. The mind interprets these messages in your unconscious, using the info for all types of personal self help activities ranging from physical and mental healing to dealing with emotional issues and more.

While a lot people were introduced to subliminal messages in the form of ads, many years ago, it was a negative experience. They ran into them during movies at the cinema, for instance, inviting guests to buy popcorn and other grandstand products. Not what the public wanted for their movie ticket purchase, that's for sure.

But times have changed. And subliminal message techniques and systems have changed, with a popular means of using the short, repetitive messages being with computers today.

Subliminal Computer Self Help

A popular product line in the marketplace today is a subliminal message script. You purchase the script and it usually comes in the form of an executable file that you download and save to your computer, then click to start.

Once you start or activate it, you often find preloaded message series that can help with any number of issues like smoking cessation, weight loss, overcoming addiction, improving your self esteem and more. The message can even be customized or you can load your own series.

A series may include some 10 to 20 short messages like:

1. I can stop smoking and I will.
2. I do not need a cigarette. Instead, breathing in good, fresh air smells and feels great.
3. Instead of spending money on cigarettes, I will save my money & spend it later, however I like.
4. My health is improving every day.
5. My lungs are getting stronger and healthier.
6. Etc.

Then you go into your control panel of the software script, and set a timer that tells how fast your messages will be displayed, like every second or so. Try the default and ones recommended, and adjust as needed.

Subliminal Message Writing

For help with your message writing, there are several resources to help. A small sampling of these are:

1) Elance - Head to this freelance site and hire people to bid son writing message series for you. You can seek writers who are experienced writing these. The site offers free account registration and setup, and free project posting as well as advanced paid options.

2) Head to the public library, local bookstore or online bookstore like Amazon for subliminal books that focus on what your goals are, to help with the content. For example, you can find a materials like this CD / DVD, "30-Day Subliminal Weight Loss Program: Lose Fat While Your Unconscious Mind Does The Work," by Steve Murray.

Learn more at individual places that sell these products. And download a trial where you can to see what you think. Subliminal messages make it much easier today to tackle physical, mental and other issues in a safe manner. See what you think.

It also tells the story behind the book - how it was born, "died," then rose from its ashes to become a word-of-mouth bestseller that continues to inspire millions of men and women of all ages in 22 languages worldwide.

Comments by Dan:

'Way of the Peaceful Warrior began my own journey as a writer and teacher. I've been blessed by thousands of letters I've received over the years. When I wrote it, I had no idea that so many people, young and old, from different walks of life, would find my story so inspiring. Over the years I've asked myself why. I believe it's because my story also touched upon universal themes-our common quest for meaning and purpose and direction. Somehow it reminds readers of what they had always known but forgotten -- the bigger picture and essential perfection of our lives unfolding.'

Does God Not Like Corner Backs?

I am a person that has been on a journey. Over that last few years I have really searched for a spiritual centeredness in my life. I grew up in a very religious family. Religion tore our family apart because certain philosophies could not exist. Everyone felt they had the true way to heaven. Now mind you all of them considered themselves Christian, but with their own brand of Christianity.

My family for me is a microcosm of the world. Everyone is not Christian but each religion feels as though THEY have the way to heaven. As a matter of fact if you do not believe as THEY do then you and others that think like you deserve to die! I never could understand the thought process that another creation of the God you worship should not live because you disagree on some miniscule point. For me it is difficult to understand how a creator of all things can choose one group or one person over another.

One day I was watching a football game. My team did win the game on this particular day. One of the receivers was very emotional during the game after he caught a touch down pass. He sat on the sideline actually crying! After the game a reporter asked the receiver what was going through his mind at that time. The receiver stated that he had spoken with his pastor at church the day before or sometime during the week. He said the pastor told him that God would allow him to do something great in the game to glorify him. Because the touch down was a turning point in the game the receiver surmised that this was the great thing that God had allowed him to do. God was on his side that day according to the receiver. A thought came over my mind at that moment. What did the corner back (this is person that plays a position on defense in American football) do to fall out of favor with God? Did God not like the corner back so he allowed him to get embarrassed on national TV?

I make lite of the situation with the cornerback, but it puts religion in a perspective that we should start to think about someday and I hope soon. Many people think of God as someone watching over all facets of our existence. I know some days he must get tired and just rest. He takes his eyes off the window to the world for brief times. I know this is true because I was going to the barber last week and prayed for a good hair cut. The barber messed up!

I figured I got in the same dog house as the cornerback or else he would not have gotten beat for a touch down and my barber would have had a steady hand. Or maybe he was busy with the guys involved in the war that had the guns praying that they be the ones to live and the other guy die? Have you ever thought how a God would choose which one of his creations would live when they were in conflict? People often speak of God as being the father. If that is so then how does a father choose one child over another? If you are a parent, what could your child do that you would never forgive them for and send their souls to burn in hell for eternity?

I don't think any religion has it right. When there is any thought that God will favor one over another for any reason it is wrong. When we start to question why a God does not work favorably for everyone then maybe we can move away from the thought process of God punishing one person over another. That cornerback has to know that he was not out of favor with God and that is the reason he was embarrassed by that receiver. I have come to believe that God is not a being in any sense of the word. However, there is a source that is greater than us, a source that we are all connected with. This source does not favor anyone anymore than the next person. One day I hope that religion will come to grips with its contradictions and let that lowly corner back know that him being out of favor was not the reason he was beaten on national TV. In our connection with universal consciousness, we all are as great as we choose to be.

Hi my name is Reginald Martin and my perspective is one of a holistic approach with the knowledge of how the universe weaves its interconnected tapestry and affects our lives. I am just like many of you. I have been through many of life's major ups and downs, like the birth of my children, raising a family, a divorce, Amway (any former distributors out there?) starting out dating again after years of marriage and being laid off from a job. These ups and downs can either make you or break you! My friend they made me. Although when my Amway business went under that was close to the straw that broke the camels back for me. J Just kidding. I developed a consciousness about life through the school of hard knocks that I would like to share with you. I look back on many of those events now and can laugh a little. I have been where many of you are about to go. There is a saying that I like, "you can learn from your experiences or from the experiences of others. The former will take you a lot longer to get the lesson but you will eventually learn it." I have mucho experience! My expertise is the areas of man, husband, father, brother, uncle, boss, friend and neighbor. I enjoy sports, reading, blogging and manly things like crotch scratching, yawning and stretching in the morning. Unless you have not lived you know that anything going haywire in those areas can cause you to have mental breakdown followed by a spiritual awakening, or not! And oh yeah, I kinda look at life in an irreverent quirky kind of way. I swear this is like writing an online dating profile!
