The Law of Attraction - 3 Effective Ways to Supercharge Your Positive Thinking

The Law of Attraction has become a popular notion that many people desire to employ in their lives. Simply stated, the law suggests that mental focus upon a thing desired can bring about a concrete manifestation of the thing in reality. Likewise, concentrating on the negative can also attract negative events into our lives. The concept is simple, but the implementation is not always easy. Here are 3 ways to give your ability to think positively a big boost:

1. Take care of your physical body. The mind and body are inextricably linked, and the health of one impact the health of the other. Eat well, concentrating on fresh vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains. Reduce your intake of sugar and other processed foods. Take supplements if you need them, like a good food based multivitamin, calcium supplement, and fish oil, which has many benefits including improvement of brain health. If you are feeling down, try taking 5 HTP (hydroxytryptophan), which is a natural antidepressant, and L-Theanine, which is a good natural anti-anxiety supplement. Implement a doctor approved exercise program focused on cardiovascular exercise.

2. Clear your mind of the burden of anger. First, allow yourself to experience the full impact of your anger. Feel the emotion and the effect on your body as you envision the person or events you are angry about. Then, make a conscious decision to release the negative emotion because you no longer wish to feel its negative effects. Imagine that you are exactly where you are designed to be, at this very moment. Allow that the person who angered you did the best they could with what they had to work with -- even if it wasn't very much. Imagine releasing that person and your anger into the universe, to whatever God has in store. Repeat the steps until you begin to feel greater peace. If angry thoughts continue to invade your mind, say "Cancel" and imagine a large red "X" through the thought. You are doing this to honor your right to have joy, happiness, and positivity flow through you. The anger hurts no one but you. If your anger is self directed, repeat the steps for releasing yourself.

3. Begin daydreaming about the things you desire. Are they material goods? A healthy relationship? Imagine in detail what it will feel like, smell like, taste like, look like, and sound like to achieve your dream. Spend time every day in this exercise. You will find that the motivation to pursue your goal will increase, as well as your success in achieving it.
